What is Buccaneer for a Day?

Do you wonder what life is like as a DCC student? If so, this opportunity is for you! Each school year, our admissions office hosts Buccaneer for a Day visits for our prospective students. At this event you will attend college classes, learn about academic programs and student services, meet current DCC students, meet with professors or coaches, eat in the cafeteria, and take a tour of the DCC campus. It’s a day in the life of a DCC student.

We’ll send you home with information, answers, and free Buccaneer gear. We’ll even buy your lunch! All high school juniors, seniors, and their parents are invited to join us! Come experience life at DCC. Be a Buccaneer for a Day!

Personalized Visits: You choose when to visit!

Maybe one of our "Buccaneer for a Day" view days doesn't fit into your schedule. Personalized campus visits are available anytime Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 3:30, except on holidays. You will meet with an admissions representative, tour the campus, discuss financial aid options, and speak with professors about the academic programs you are interested in.
